Organising Keywords in Google Ads Keyword Planner

A useful feature which has recently been introduced within the Keyword Planner in Google Ads accounts is the function to organise keywords into relevant ad groups. This can be a key part of keyword research and getting the campaign structure working as effectively as possible around the relevant themes used by searchers.

When you have a set of new keywords or you’ve found new keyword ideas, determining where to place them in your account can be challenging. Organising keywords simplifies this process by automatically helping to find the right placement for new keywords based on how they are currently organised for relevant campaigns.

This feature gives you control over which keywords are selected for each ad group as now Google automatically suggests which saved keywords could work best per campaign based on your existing account structure.
